Tilly was a very easy dog to train as it shows from her testing record. She had an exceptional testing season, six prize 1’s in the same year. She is an exceptional hunting dog with incredible natural abilities, very strong pointing instincts combined with an excellent nose and cooperation, natural retriever and tracking instinct. She loves to work in the water as much as the field. She has hunted ducks, geese, pheasant, partridge and grouse in Alberta, and is not deterred by the cold weather. At home she is very calm and quiet in the house, and loves to play with the kids. She is a pleasure to be around. Tilly is characteristically a very friendly and gentle dog when around other people or dogs in a relaxed setting. She shows absolutely no aggression and seeks companionship with anyone who is nearby. When hunting, she shows great leadership and drive to please.
