Bristle is 5 years old and this is her first litter. In 2021, with excellent results in the Derby (Prize 1 – 4h Search), Solms Prize 1 (4h Search), and Zuchtschau V, Bristle won the DKGNA Francois Aldrich Best Dog Trophy. In 2023, she earned a prize 1 in VGP. She is an intense hunter and loves the water, but she also is calm and sweet when at home.
In April of this year, she flew to Germany to be bred to Vico, who has an impressive testing record including IKP 1 and Kleeman. Vico is 8 years old and is a confident male, who has a calm temperament and is wonderful around children and puppies. He has an extremely successful track record in Germany of healthy litters with very good confirmation and performance. Vico only has two puppies that have been imported into the USA and both of those young dogs have performed above already high expectations in Derby and VJP. Bristle will have the first Vico litter born in the USA and will help provide excellent genetic diversity to North America.
